Welcome to SITXFSA005 Use hygienic practices for food safety.  

On the successful completion of this Unit, you will have the skills and knowledge to: 

  • follow hygiene procedures and identify food hazards. 

  • report any personal health issues. 

  • prevent food contamination. 

  • prevent cross-contamination by washing hands. 

 

Assessment Methodology 

You will be required to complete the following assessment tasks: 

  • Knowledge Tests 

  • Observation  

These tasks are based on a fictitious company, The Righteous Inn. You will work on each task progressively, just as you would compete tasks within a workplace project.
